The Chair of Hydrology and River Basin Management focuses their research on flood risk management, the management of water and land resources, the study of water and mass transport processes and statistical methods in hydrology. They are working with hydrological, geographical and meteorological data for their hydrological and hydrodynamic models.
For GeRDI we gain insights in various of their research questions like flash flood modeling, hydrological modeling, hydromechanical modeling and snow hydrology. Information about how the researchers collect and process data from different resources as well as their workflows to simulate these different models flows into the requirements specification for GeRDI.
